Scooter Pietsch is a playwright, Emmy-nominated composer/songwriter, and author. His play WiNDFALL was produced in 2023 in London (directed by Mark Bell - THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG), in 2022 at Bay Street Theater New York, and in 2016 at the Arkansas Repertory Theater. Both the NY and AR productions were directed by Jason Alexander (SEINFELD and THE COTTAGE currently running on Broadway). Readings and productions of his plays and musicals have included performances by Tony & Emmy-winner Bryan Cranston (BREAKING BAD, ALL THE WAY, NETWORK), Tony-winners Stephanie J. Block (THE CHER SHOW), Cady Huffman (THE PRODUCERS), Faith Prince (GUYS AND DOLLS), and Michelle Pawk (HOLLYWOOD ARMS), along with Spencer Garrett HBO’s WINNING TIME, Sebastian Arcelus (INTO THE WOODS, JERSEY BOYS), Brandon Dirden (TAKE ME OUT), Jack Coleman (HEROES, THE OFFICE), Spencer Grammer (GREEK, RICK & MORTY), Justin Bartha (THE HANGOVER, LEND ME A TENOR), Nancy Travis (THREE MEN AND A BABY, THE KOMINSKY METHOD), and many others.
As a composer, Scooter’s music has appeared in many films and hundreds of TV series. Some of these include TV: Pretty Little Liars, Burn Notice, All Dogs Go To Heaven, Greek, American Idol, Sex And The City, Deal Or No Deal, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, So You Think You Can Dance, and Divorce Court - FILM: 2023 Sanctuary (starring Margaret Qualley), Van Wilder, Urban Legends, Getting To Know You, Persons Unknown, Run, & The Marrying Man. His classical music has been performed in both the US and Europe.
